Is This the Memory Supercycle?
Hi, and welcome to a new edition of The Daily Dealflow β the 5-minute briefing that gives you clear context on capital flows and market-moving trends across the Americas, from Silicon Valley to Buenos Aires. Let's dive in.
π Deal of the Day
Micron Technology reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $54.23B, up from $11.32B a year earlier, with GAAP earnings of $32.87 per diluted share. Full-year revenue came in at $133.19B versus $37.38B the year before. CNBC's headline put it plainly: Micron beat on earnings and issued strong guidance as data center revenue jumped 11-fold.
Why This?: Micron's numbers are the clearest read yet on how much money AI buildouts are sending to memory suppliers, and that spending reaches data centers, power projects and startups across America. Investors were waiting on this report for signs of whether AI demand can keep going β The Motley Fool.

Positive Context:
- Micron guided fiscal first-quarter 2027 revenue to $61.5B, plus or minus $1.5B, which is higher than the quarter it just reported β Investing News.
- Operating margin reached 80.7% in the quarter, and the company holds $73.48B in cash and investments.
Yes, but:
- Major indexes sit near all-time highs while market breadth weakens, and single-stock volatility is rising, which leaves a few mega-cap AI names carrying a lot of weight.
"Micron delivered record fiscal 2026 results, and we expect an even stronger fiscal 2027," said Sanjay Mehrotra, chairman and CEO.
