The round lands as Gatik has completed more than 85,000 fully driverless orders at a 99% on-time delivery rate for retail and CPG partners including Walmart, Tyson Foods, Loblaws, and PepsiCo – Forbes.

• No valuation was disclosed, and the company is now jumping its driverless fleet from dozens of trucks to "hundreds" by year-end — a scale-up that raises the stakes on safety and regulatory scrutiny just as autonomous trucking draws more attention from state regulators and plaintiffs' attorneys nationwide.

Zoom in: Gatik's driverless routes today run only in Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, and Canada — a small operational footprint the company now plans to multiply several times over before it ever touches a highway.
